The magnificent Denali National Park and Preserve quarter is the fifth of 2012 and the 15th in America the Beautiful Quarters Program designated by the US government. The Denali National Park is located in the Denali Borough and Matanuska-Susitna Borough, Alaska, with the nearest city being Healy, AL. The park was established on February 26, 1917, and is a massive 4,740,911 acres. The habit is ideal for coyotes, hoary marmots, shrews, Arctic ground squirrels, beavers, pikas, snowshoe hares, Red and Arctic fox species, martens, Canada lynx, and wolverines.
